I am planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean .. What is the best place?
I'm in the early stages of planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean. My finance and I am puzzled as to where the island would be best for this occasion. We are currently Bermuda, Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Saint Kitts, and Turks and Caicos. These options are because we are familiar with the requirements for a marriage license, residency requirements, and all documents he believes are most beautiful places for the celebration. We are looking for an island that is not "too touristy, but at the same time, we are looking for a place where there are at least some activities to keep us busy (ie, diving, swimming, hiking, places to visit, some restaurants to check. etc) Ideas? Thanks in advance!
My suggestion would be to Aruba because it is a great time and is outside the hurricane zone … you do not mention the month, but is a place where it rains almost never constant Breezy with time and grade 82. I attended my first wedding www.aruba.com Caribbean's new in November 2002 at the Eagle Beach Lacabanne and it was beautiful and impressive. Eagle Beach is much larger than Palm Beach, there is more space to the beach and not many tourists from you bother. This is the island "where happiness lives" and why not start your many years of happiness. Aruba diving, swimming, windsurfing, hiking, horseback riding, golf, casinos and nightclubs. Oh, and the steaks are out of this world dinner at the French Steakhouse and El Gaucho (2 reservation one month www.elgaucho is required is that good!)-Aruba.com ….
