"I can legally carry a concealed knife side of Los Angeles County in a holster on his belt?
I live in a bad neighborhood when I'm afraid out. I saw men carry knives in the hip and want to know is what is legal. A friend told me that both is not hidden and 7 inches or less in a sheath that is legal. Does anyone know if this is true and where I'm going to know the penal code covering issue.Thanks this for someone I can help.
You have two laws overlap here. Under state law, you can use a fixed blade knife openly his belt, no matter how long, but you can not carry a concealed fixed blade. However, in the County of Los Angels have legislation on the implementation open knives, and you can not make any knife with a blade over 3 inches long. When you are Los Angeles County, you must follow the laws of the state and county of Los Angeles CA law, at the same time. Translation: You can carry any knife openly Like blade is 3 inches or less. You can not carry a concealed knife fixed blade, but you can use a knife hidden any length.
