Linkin Park’s ‘Iridescent’ Video: A Dog, A Throne And A Blind King (MTV)

In the new video for their song from the upcoming ‘Transformers: Dark of the
Moon’ soundtrack, the rockers get ‘abstract.’

Linkin Park lending their music to a “Transformers” movie
isn’t exactly a new thing — the rockers are three-for-three at this
point, having just shot a video for “Iridescent,”, the lead single off the
soundtrack to the upcoming installment of the sci-fi/action franchise, href="/movies/movie/422131/moviemain.jhtml">“Transformers: Dark of the
Moon.” What is new this time out is the concept of the video for
the song, which, truth be told, is actually pretty confusing … even to the
guys in LP themselves.

“All I know about the
concept is that [Linkin Park turntablist/frequent director] Joe Hahn sent me
an e-mail that said something about ‘In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed
man is king,’ or something like that,” singer/rapper Mike Shinoda laughed.
