How I can record video camera surveillance DVR system for my computer?
Someone recently took one of my cameras and I wanted to record video images and to improve utilization. How do I record video clips for you to put on my computer?
Hello, Some DVRs can be connected to the network to allow remote viewing and backup. Check if your DVR has this feature by checking the manual or ask the supplier. I guess you do not have a CD or USB device backup on your DVR, so the only other way to back up your PC is to try the following. Buy or rent a video capture device like USB Dazzle http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Dazzle/ products that allows you to connect any source analog video to your computer, save, edit video and output of any CD, DVD, video file as you. It will take a very cheap BNC to RCA to connect the DVR for the Dazzle product. Use the software that comes with Dazzle to do what you need.
